While striving to maintain authenticity and historical
integrity, we needed a unique name for the Bailey Lounge and
Club.
Our research documented a Professor Zanga who took out an ad
in a 1925 Bunkie Record newspaper advertising "Professor Zanga
will be staying in room 39 at the Bailey Hotel. A
Soothsayer and Clairvoyant, Professor Zanga will find your lost
articles, minerals, and tell your future."
Therefore; we present,
Zanga's, for your entertainment and, in

some of the Most Talented Musicians in Louisiana, just to name a
few: Paul Lemoine, one-man Band and Keyboard
Monster! 2 Jacks & A Queen featuring the musicianship and
Harmonies of George & Gwen Hollinshead & Bill Tebow. Avery
Michaels & Jason, Nashville Recording Artists. Kenny Gill,
Nashville Recording Artist & Bunkie Native Son. Bobby Sonnnier &
The Cajun Heritage Band live and direct from the world's famous
'Fred's Lounge in Mamou. Bernie Allan & Blue-Eyed Zydeco
offer The Squeeze-Box in traditional as well as contemporary
styles. Walter Jr. & The Rhythm Roux, Bill Roza, Selwyn
Cooper & Flash Gordon Wiltz make up the L.A. Hurricane Band,
Ruble Wright & the WrightBeats, David St. Romain, Gary Cathey
Band, Nashville Recording Blues Artist Burton Garr, The Blues
Brothers of Louisiana, The Renee Mc Crary Band, Dwayne Juneau,
Kyle Veillon, make up just
a tip of the lineup which also included John Ray Koonce(Rest his
soul), and Carol Fran on the
Piano in the Magnolia Room, The Bailey Hotel's Five Star
Dining Room on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for the Dinner
Presentation.
The Bailey Hotel has also started a new tradition
for Central Louisiana on Thursday nites, "Jazz Nite" which
includes the Saxophone melodies of Dave Duplissey, Trumpet Solos
of Will Harmon, Keyboard Rifts with Dexter Compton, and the
vocals of Felicia Harmon & Credenza Compton.
